What PWTAG Compliance Records Must Include
The Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG) Code of Practice specifies that water quality records for commercial and shared-use pools should document every test performed, who performed it, and any corrective action taken. Maintaining complete records demonstrates compliance with health and safety obligations and provides an audit trail for local authority inspections.
This template captures all the fields PWTAG guidance requires: date, time, engineer identification, free and combined chlorine levels, pH, temperature, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and corrective actions. Records should be kept for at least five years.
How to Use This Template
Enter the site details at the top, then add one row per water test. Export as a PDF for a branded compliance report you can send to clients or file for inspections, or as a CSV to import into a spreadsheet for further analysis.
